Once you create an account, go to your dashboard and do the following:
Complete your profile
Click on “Edit your info/ Edit your family info” in the menu bar (if the bar is hidden, click the menu icon—two horizontal lines—in the top-right corner). Then click “Edit” to the right of your personal information.
Make sure you add as many details as possible—even outdated ones. This will not only help us find more of your exposed profiles but also allow us to sort out those of people with similar names or addresses.
Add email addresses to data breach monitoring
Click “Data breach monitoring” in the menu bar. The email address you registered with will be scanned automatically—add any other emails you’d like to monitor as well. To learn more about Onere’s data breach monitoring feature, see our guide.
Family plan: add family members
Click “Add a family member” in the menu bar. Be sure to provide as many personal details as possible so that we can find and remove more exposed records.
Pro plan: provide consent for non-public data broker opt-outs
Opt-outs from non-public data brokers are on hold until you provide consent. To do this, scroll your dashboard to the “Your removals” section, open the “Non-public data brokers” tab, and click “Agree and continue.” If you have a family account, please note that you need to provide consent for each member individually.
Set up two-factor authentication
Click on the menu icon in the top-right corner, then on “Account preferences.” There, set up 2-step verification (for detailed instructions, read our guide). This will add another layer of security to your account and protect it in case your password is compromised.
Sit back and watch
Once your profile is complete, Onerep takes care of the rest. You don’t need to contact data brokers yourself, keep track of their responses, or click verification links. We do the heavy lifting by continuously monitoring covered sites, submitting removal requests on your behalf, and sending follow-ups when your information reappears.
To keep an eye on the removal process, log in to your dashboard at any time and view your current progress. You will also receive monthly progress reports via email.
