The custom removal requests feature is designed to help users opt out of data brokers outside of Onerep’s coverage. It’s currently available on Pro plans.
How does it work?
If you find your personal information exposed on a data broker that isn’t covered by Onerep (see full list here), you can submit it to our privacy experts directly through your account:
- Either click on “Custom removal” in the menu bar or on “Request custom removal” in the top right corner.
- Provide the URL of the page exposing your information. Note that you need to paste the address of the exact page where your data appears, not just the website’s home page or name.
- If possible, include a screenshot of the exposed information.
Once we receive your request, we will review it as soon as possible. You can track the progress in the “Your request history” section located below the submission form.
Important information:
- While we do our best to remove your information, the outcome fully depends on the site in question. Some brokers honor requests relatively quickly, while others take months to respond or ignore requests altogether. In some cases, data may only be removed partially.
- Due to the nature of these platforms, we can’t remove data from social media sites, government sites, blogs, forums, media outlets, or legal record pages.
